I suppose everyone has their own idea of what a blog looks like, but to me the site that I have recently become completely and helplessly adicted to, Memeorandum isn't a blog per se, but a service. It quickly lets you know what the stories are that the most important political and media bloggers in the whole, wide world, left and right are linking to (ok, I'm biased, since I'm included.) The more bloggers have linked to a particular story, the higher it rises on the list; the older a story gets, the lower it falls.
The way the site is set up, you can see at a glance what stories the blogosphere are all a-twitter about and quickly see which bloggers have posted on it, then access their posts directly from the site, or when there is a big story you know the blogosphere will react to, you can go there to see which bloggers have responded. (Using it that way can be a bit tricky, since when responding to an event instead of a story, every bogger will have a different favorite news source: some use the Post, some the Times, some a different wire service for breaking news, so the posts may be split between what appear to be different "stories" and are just different sources for breaking news.)
If you haven't tried this site yet, check it out: it will quickly become one of your favorites.
