Kofi Annan is finally talking about getting a UN Envoy for Iraq. One little detail remains to be worked out: should he work from Jordan, or from Cyprus? Just something to keep in mind the next time someone suggests the UN should be put in charge in Iraq. (I'm talkin' to you New York Times editorial page.)
